Vodafone Red Customers To Receive Surprise Rewards At African Legends Night

Ahead of Vodafone African Legends night, slated for September 24th, Vodafone Ghana has promised its loyal Red customers an unmatched experience as part of the telecom giant’s consistency in rewarding customers for being committed and loyal to the network.

The fifth edition of the much awaited event, organised by Global Media Alliance, is an annual musical concert to celebrate African musicians. The event has featured various entertainers in the past including South Africa's Hugh Masekela, Femi Kuti of Nigeria, Freddy Meiway of Ivory Coast, Amakye Dede, Ben Brako, Ofie Kudjo and George Darko from Ghana.

Commenting on the surprise reward offerings planned for customers, Agnes Emefa Essah, Director of Consumer Business at Vodafone Ghana said:

“Over the years, Vodafone has consistently fashioned out innovative ways to make customers feel appreciated. At last year’s African Legends Night, we provided selected customers with accommodations and dinner at the Movenpick Hotel and a limousine ride to the concert venue.  Additionally, they were chauffeured back to the hotel to spend the night before heading back to their homes the following morning. ”

Calling on all subscribers to take advantage of this opportunity, the Director of Consumer Business also said Vodafone Red customers who want to stand a chance of winning tickets and other rewards should  dial *200# and subscribe to Red Hott or Classic.

Edwin Amankwah, the Director of Global Media Alliance (GMA) said: “We are happy to partner with Vodafone Ghana and give its Red subscribers  a reward of a lifetime. We assure subscribers and the general public an amazing night of great entertainment like no other."
The Director of GMA also said  the show will feature the likes of Vodafone Icon’s Wiyaala, Amandzeba Nat Brew, Nana Tuffour and Akosua Agyapong, all of whom have promised to wow audience and to make a big statement since it is the first time all four will be gracing the African Legends Night stage.

Over the years, the event has attracted over 1,000 people to the nation’s Banquet Hall, State House with soothing, exciting and danceable African tunes.

The event is supported by CDH Savings and Loans, CDH Asset Management , Huawei, Awake Purified Drinking Water, Phoenix Insurance, Phoenix Health, Phoenix Life, South African Airways, Avis rent a car, Accra City Hotel, Sign Language among others.

No 'Shower Hour' On Big Brother Naija - Says MultiChoice

As preparations are in top gear for the second edition of social reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, organisers have revealed that there will be no broadcast of nude footage called ‘Shower Hour’, when the show returns on January 22, 2017. This comes to some fans as ‘decent’, following the controversies generated by that segment of the show, during the now rested continental edition, Big Brother Africa (BBA). MultiChoice is bringing back the Nigerian version of the series after 10 years. It had announced after the last edition of BBA that each African country will stage the show henceforth.
