FIFA Secretary General, Fatma Samoura, has been announced as Special Guest Speaker for the 2020 edition of the Africa Women's Sports Summit. The event, which goes virtual this year, comes off on Wednesday, September 2. Other Speakers announced for the 2020 edition include President of the Sierra Leone Football Association and CAF Executive Committee Member, Isha Johansen, President of the Nigeria Women's Football League, Aisha Falode, and Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku. This year's event has Sports Leadership as its focus area and is being held under the theme "Shifting Mindsets". Started last year, the Africa Women's Sports Summit brings together hundreds of leading women in sports to deliberate on critical strands that matter in the sports scene, particularly where African women are concerned. The summit is a global platform for mentorship, training and championing greater female inclusion in the African sports ecosystem.

This week, Kiddwaya beat the other BBNaija housemates to win the Head of House title, choosing Tolanibaj to be his deputy. Both housemates automatically gain immunity from the next round of evictions as well as enjoy exclusive access to the Head of House lounge for the week. For the first time since the start of the games, Big Brother announced that both the HoH and DHoH will get to invite one guest each into the Head of House luxury lounge per week. The third live eviction show of the BBNaija Lockdown edition saw Kaisha who escaped eviction last week leave the house. Housemates were mostly relieved after the eviction show as Ebuka announced that Big Brother was only evicting one housemate from the bottom four this week. During the week, Erica became Head of House and got immunity from eviction this week. She chose Kiddwaya as her deputy, who was also exempted from possible evictions. The rest of the house were put up for possible evictions. At the beginning of the live show, Ebuka announced that TrikyTee, Kaisha, Wathoni and Neo were the bottom four for the week. Housemates were then individually called into the diary room to nominate two housemates for eviction. At the end of the process, Kaisha was immediately evicted from the house. Ka3na And Lilo Are The First Housemates To Be Evicted From The BBNaija Lockdown House

Ka3na and Lilo have been evicted from the Big Brother Naija Lockdown Show. The two housemates were evicted at the first eviction show of the season this Sunday, August 2, 2020 making them the first set of housemates to leave the show.  The two evicted housemates along with Eric and Praise scored the lowest public votes after all the housemates, except for the HoH and Deputy, who were put up for nomination on Monday. After the bottom four were announced by Ebuka during the live eviction show, each housemate was then given the opportunity to nominate two out of the four for possible eviction. The four housemates with the lowest votes were Lilo, Eric, Praise and Ka3na. After each housemate voted in the diary room, Ka3na and Lilo received the highest nominations from their fellow housemates and were evicted immediately leaving Eric and Praise in the house.
