CBG Awards 2018 Best Business, Finance And Economic Reporter

The Consolidated Bank Ghana Ltd, has presented the CBG Financial Journalist of the Year award to Mr Maxwell Akalaare Adombila of the Graphic Communications Group at the 24th Ghana Journalists Association awards night in Accra. The winner of the category “Best Business, Finance and Economic Reporting Journalist of the year was rewarded with a special plaque. CBG Spearheads Export Trade Forum

 Deputy Managing Director of Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Thairu Ndungu has revealed that it is imperative for Ghana to take advantage of exports of goods and services since it contributes more than 35% of Ghana GDP. “Exports contribute more than 35% of our GDP and it is very critical to the stability of the Ghana Cedi, hence the urge to spearhead the discussion on how to develop initiatives and activities that offer collaborative support and partnership with exporters in Ghana. CBG is committed to facilitating National Development and the first step is to fervently support Small and Medium Enterprises in Ghana,” he said. Funny Face, Caroline And Serwaa Amihere Commend Pepsodent For Transforming Lives

Ghanaian celebrities, Funny Face, Caroline and Serwaa Amihere have taken to social media to thank Pepsodent Ghana for transforming the life of a young boy called Christian Baah. Christian was suffering from a benign tumor known as Fibromyxoma, an aggressive condition that led to the swelling and deforming of his face. The condition made it impossible for little Christian to do simple every day activities like speaking, eating, smiling and even breathing. He became withdrawn as he could not socialize with children his own age. With no financial help coming in, the parents were desperate for a helping hand to save their son.  Pepsodent, through its #EverySmileMatters brand communication mandate decided to ease the pain of this little boy by paying the cost of his full surgery. The decision to cover the bill for the surgery is part of Pepsodent’s World Oral Health Day (WOHD) campaign which was marked earlier this year. The case was referred to Pepsodent by the Ghana Dental Association.

Chaana Shito Spices Up The Food Industry

Shito, the word for pepper in Ga, a Ghanaian language from Accra, the capital Of Ghana, is widely used as the name for the hot black pepper sauce ubiquitous in Ghanaian cuisines, and Chaana Shito has come to complement and improve food taste. Pepsodent Demonstrates Why Every Smile Matters By Completing Surgery For 2 Year Old Boy Living With A Tumor

Two year-old Christian Baah, now has smiles restored to face after undergoing surgery to remove a benign tumor from his mouth, which had swollen and deformed his face. The surgery was facilitated by the Pepsodent toothpaste brand. Hailing from Mankessim in the Central region, Christian had lived with the benign tumor since turning one. The condition made him unable to smile, often inflicting pain whenever he ate, spoke or breathed. Little Christian could also not socialize as a result of his condition. The surgery was performed by doctors of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department in Accra. Pepsodent has a long standing relationship with the Ghana Dental Association (GDA), and as part of the brand’s sustainable living agenda, Pepsodent partnered the GDA to undertake this surgical operation. 7th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards Calls For Entries

Africa Magic has announced that entries are now being accepted for the seventh edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA). Entries open Wednesday, 13 November and close Friday, 13 December 2019.
