Bisa Kdei Appointed As Ambassador In La Cote d'Ivoire

Just few days after being honored by HE Ron Strikker, ambassador for the United Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ghana, multiple award winning musician Bisa K'dei has been appointed as an ambassador for Tourism in La Cote d'Ivoire. Been one of the top African musicians headlining the 10th edition of Festival des Musiques Urbaines d'Anoumabo (FEMUA), Bisa Kdei who flew to La Cote d'Ivoire on Friday, April 28 2017 with his team and band was invited by top government officials for a lunch upon their arrival. Almost all the musicians headlining the Festival including legendary Magic System, Singuila others were present at the lunch and Bisa Kdei without knowing how much he is worth to the Ivorians was honored as a tourism ambassador.

2017 Ghana Meets Naija Launches On Tuesday

The 7th edition of West Africa’s biggest Mega music concert, Ghana Meets Naija, launches in Accra on Tuesday, May 2. Organizers, Empire, say the launch will take place at the Kokomlemle Corporate offices of leading Ghanaian bank and sponsors of this year’s event, uniBank. Inna Patty, Miss Ghana 2004 and CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana; the organisers of Miss Ghana pageant took part in a groundbreaking ceremony on Saturday to start a construction of an additional multi-purpose structure at the Child Protection Centre by Omenaa Mensah Foundation for Don Bosco Technical & Vocational Training Institute in Ashaiman, Tema. Inna Patty who was a special guest of honour invited by the Salesians of Don Bosco Anglophone West Africa Province years ago acquired acres of land for the institution and helped in the building of a female hostel on the land. Empire Yet To Name OFFICIAL Artiste Lineup For 2017 Ghana Meets Naija – Management

The official artiste lineup for the 2017 Ghana Meets Naija is yet to be released, organizers, Empire, have said. Earlier reports communicated a fine list of artistes penciled for this year’s event but Empire, who are holding the event for the seventh year, say they are yet to officially communicate the complete list. “We are still in talks with some and we are hopeful that in the next few days, we will be able to communicate the final list,” an Empire official says. Sticking to the event’s theme and longstanding tradition of pairing artistes from Nigeria and Ghana to a night’s celebration of music, this year’s would also feature the best of the two countries. Empire adds that the talks have advanced to a point where they feel confident they are getting almost all the acts they want for the show. “We have had extensive negotiations and cannot wait to let people in on our final list. It is the best you can have currently from the two countries.”
