Who are you wearing? Who made this? You have a lovely dress. Your suit is cut to fit. Your make up is great. Wooow, your shoes are beautiful, what brand is it? I could go on-and-on and-on to remember some of the basic questions that are usually asked on the red carpet of the VGMAs. Call For Entry : Ghana Music Awards UK 2017 Opens Nominations

Organisers of Ghana Music Awards UK have held a press conference to call for entries for this year’s Ghana Music Awards UK. The conference, which was held on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Starr UK multimedia in Croydon, was to officially set the platform for artistes to submit their works for consideration. According to Nana Slick, the General manager, submitted works must be released between April 2016 to April 2017. CEO of the Awards, Mr.Eric Nii Tetteh ( Alordia Promotions ) disclosed that the purpose of the awards is to focus on recognising the hard work of Ghanaian musicians. He also revealed that this year’s awards will introduce further categories to acknowledge a wider section within the industry.

RWANDAIR STARTS FLIGHTS TO LAGOS (NIGERIA) FROM ACCRA

RwandAir, the national carrier of the Republic of Rwanda will on 23rd March commence direct flights from Accra to Lagos as part of the Airline’s route expansion project in 2017. Lagos – Nigeria being the first phase of the project, will be followed by new routes such as Harare (Zimbabwe) and Mumbai (India) on 01st and 03 rd April respectively. The flights to Lagos will be tagged to the existing Accra- Kigali route and operated daily with the new fleet including the newly acquired Airbus 330-200 -triple class configuration with on board wifi and mobile access. According to Shukrani Hemedi, Country Manager of RwandAir Ghana, this project is one of many initiated by the airline to add more value and meet customers demand. ``We are happy about this development and the opportunity to pick passengers from Accra to Lagos which meets expectation from our cherished clients.’’

Canon Announces Photo Competition To Celebrate Diversity Of Africa
