Samsung Electronics topped the global TV market for the 15th consecutive year, according to market research firm, Omdia. Dow is supporting an information and communication infrastructure pilot to reach approximately 50,000 people in Nsutem, Eastern Ghana to support improved internet and data communications connectivity. Dow’s support will help to enable the construction of a renewable energy biomass power facility which will generate sustainable incomes f or thousands of smallholder farmers locally. Through its local grantee, the Okyeman Environment Foundation (OEF), Dow has enabled the construction of a WiFi network inclusive of hardware, software and deployment of technology to support two base  stations and  18 hot spots to  create an  information and  communication infrastructure pilot  covering  a  collective  area  of  about  15  km  radius  within  surrounding communities of the biomass power facility. Angela Bamford who has been described as  one of the hardworking  fresh faces on Ghanaian television has ended her working relationship with the EIB Network.   But her TLS Show has been repeating old episodes for some weeks now. Inside sources say she won’t be returning on the newest episodes of the show. Angela was outdoored as the host of the show sometime early 2020. She was also  co-host of  all ladies talk show, Toast, in addition to reading the business news on the channel’s evening news bulletin. It looks like she will not be returning for any of the programmes. The reason for her departure is unknown. Angela has left  at  a time  when the station has been introducing new faces to make up for the vacuum created by the channel’s previous known faces who have abandoned the station for various reasons. The deadline for submissions is now February 15, 2021. It is opened to students and young professionals between the ages of 18 and 35. ‘Atoms Empowering Africa’ seeks to ignite more interest in science and technology. It is aimed at encouraging young people to “explore nuclear technologies and how these technologies could be utilized to benefit their region,” according to a statement.
