I Was Heartbroken When ‘Thing We Do For Love Ended’ – Vincent McCauley Jr.

Ghanaian actor, Vincent McCauley has revealed that he was very ‘heartbroken’ when hit TV series ‘Things We do for Love ended abruptly over a decade ago.’ Vincent, popularly known as ‘Max’ for his role in the TV series told host of the ‘Tonight Show,’ Andrew Tandoh Adote that, he loved every minute being on the show and was disappointed when the show ended abruptly. “It broke my heart seriously because I so enjoyed being on that show, it was amazing, I loved every minute of it,”. E.L Performs For Studio 189 At New York Fashion Week

After hitting the first show off his E.L Live Tour in Minnesota, rapper E.L flew over to New York for the city’s Fashion Week. MISS MALAIKA GHANA 2017 DELEGATES OFFICIALLY UNVEILED

It was a dream come true for some of the few ladies who were selected as delegates for the 15th edition of the Miss Malaika Ghana beauty pageant. The selected 16, were gracefully introduced to a cross section of press men and the general public at an official launch ceremony at the Accra Mall on Tuesday August 22. The official unveiling of the beautiful and intelligent 16 delegates was flawlessly hosted by Berla Mundi and Anita Akuffo, both past delegates of the Miss Malaika Ghana pageant. Accra Mall Hosts Fashion Show On August 25

Accra Mall, the city’s most visited retail center, is set to host the inaugural Accra Mall Fashion Weekend. The event will take place on 24th and 25th August. Over 10 fashion retailers will take to the runway to showcase fashion forward pieces available at Accra Mall. The weekend event will be curated by Glitz Africa, and will kick off on 24th August with a beauty lounge event headlined by Mac Cosmetics, the official make-up sponsor. Ghana Oscars Committee Calls For Ghanaian Movie Submissions

The foreign Language Oscar selection committee has announced the opening of entries for the 90th Oscars. The board chair Professor Linus Abraham made the announcement in Accra yesterday. Filmmakers with films that meet the requirements are encouraged to submit via film freeway and additionally submit 20 DVDs copies to the receiving desk at the NAFTI Library between the hours of 9am to 2pm. Submitting films will only be considered if they were produced between October 1 2016 and September 30th 2017 with a 7 day theatrical run in a commercial theater for profit.

NMJ Ghana, organisers of the Golden Movie Awards Africa (GMAA), have announced that nominees for the 2017 edition of the awards will be make known to the public at an event to be held on June 22nd 2017 for the purpose.  Director of the Golden Movie Awards Africa, Mimi Andani said the work given to the jury had been done and that it is time to let the public know which movies as well as actors and actresses will be nominated for which category. “It has been almost a month of very careful and great well done by the jury and they have come out with a list of nominees that we would like to share with the public on Thursday 22nd June, 2017,” Mimi Andani said. GRACE OMABOE HEADS GMAA 2017 JURY

GHANAIN legendary actress, Grace Omaboe has been chosen as president of the jury for the 2017 edition of the Golden Movie Awards Africa (GMAA).  The actress popularly known as Maame Dokono was voted by other members of the jury to be their president.
