Creative Entrepreneur Masterclass To Empower Creative And Talent Management

The development of the creative arts infrastructure is essential as it is a tool to ensure the enhancement of its growth. With the vision of empowering and enhancing the African Creative Arts Industry through the provision of top-notch professional business and legal advisory services, whiles educating the industry through its Thought Leadership Programs, Africa 1 Media proudly presents the Creative Entrepreneur Series.

The event is slated for the 3rd of November 2017 at the African Regent Hotel from 8am to 5pm.

With support from the Ministry of Arts and Culture, and Community Change Incorporated USA, the 1 day session will feature talent manager and brands expert, Godwin Tom, the CEO of IManage Africa, a firm that focuses on developing tailor-made strategies that suit the business needs and goals of many entertainers and individuals in the creative arts industry in Nigeria.

The objective of the masterclass is to empower and educate both aspiring and established talents, their teams and other music industry players on how to bridge the gap between the arts and entrepreneurship. The class will also enlighten the participants on the many challenges and solutions within the industry from legal, to business, and everything in-between.

With almost 10 years practical experience in talent management, Marketing, Public Relations, Image Consulting, Branding and Publishing, Godwin brings professionalism to the Entertainment environment with an in-depth understanding of industry demands. Godwin has worked with Nigerian heavyweights such as MI Abaga, Wizkid, Wande Coal, Ice Prince among others.

Speaking at the session together with Godwin Tom, will be the founder of Africa 1 Media and Managing Partner of CQ LEGAL AND CONSULTING, Cynthia Quarcoo.

No 'Shower Hour' On Big Brother Naija - Says MultiChoice

As preparations are in top gear for the second edition of social reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, organisers have revealed that there will be no broadcast of nude footage called ‘Shower Hour’, when the show returns on January 22, 2017. This comes to some fans as ‘decent’, following the controversies generated by that segment of the show, during the now rested continental edition, Big Brother Africa (BBA). MultiChoice is bringing back the Nigerian version of the series after 10 years. It had announced after the last edition of BBA that each African country will stage the show henceforth. Renamed Big Brother Naija, the show will have 12 housemates who will compete for the prize of N25 million and a brand new KIA Sorento car.
