GLOBAL OVATIONS ANNOUCES VICTORIA MICHAELS AS BRAND AMBASSADOR FOR MERCEDES BENZ AFRICAN FASHION FESTIVAL 2016 - REGAL EDITION

We at the Mercedes Benz African fashion festival have nurtured our brand to be a beacon in fashion. A symbol that urges us all to strive, to create and to innovate.

Since 2014, we have served as a global voice in fashion, bringing new and veteran designers as well as models to showcase skill, elegance, intelligence, creativity and grace on our platform. 

With this in mind we began our search for an icon, someone who would best represent what MBAFF stands for, a regal personality who isn’t just an image but a symbol that will inspire a generation. It is with these qualities that we announce our   MBAFF 2016 Brand Ambassador; Victoria Michaels.

According to Mr.Gideon Raji, The CEO of Global Ovation - Organizers of the MBAFF, we are more than delighted to have Victoria Michaels as our ambassador for the Mercedes Benz African Fashion Festival. The theme for this year’s edition is a personification of Victoria’s aura; elegance, gracefulness and above all regal carriage.

The Advocate..

A Social Change Advocate, Victoria’s passion for Women and Children Education led to the establishment of the Victoria Michaels Foundation – A nonprofit organization seeking to empower women and less privileged children across Ghana. She has used her foundation as a vehicle to drive various philanthropic and charity projects in Ghana.

The International Model…

Victoria's passion for Fashion led to her leaving the banking sector where she had a very successful career spanning a period of over five years. Her comeback as a model after a long hiatus was hailed as a positive inspiration to many young people. 

Victoria Michaels is known to take up leading modeling roles both on the runway and as a one of the most sought after brand ambassador for leading businesses in Ghana.

A natural go-getter, Victoria is well- rounded, flexible and experienced; this has afforded her the ability of dealing effectively with the rapidly changing needs and objectives of several different industries. 

She is well travelled and has an extensive networked around the globe. Victoria is critically acclaimed and has won many awards for her works.

No 'Shower Hour' On Big Brother Naija - Says MultiChoice

As preparations are in top gear for the second edition of social reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, organisers have revealed that there will be no broadcast of nude footage called ‘Shower Hour’, when the show returns on January 22, 2017. This comes to some fans as ‘decent’, following the controversies generated by that segment of the show, during the now rested continental edition, Big Brother Africa (BBA). MultiChoice is bringing back the Nigerian version of the series after 10 years. It had announced after the last edition of BBA that each African country will stage the show henceforth. Renamed Big Brother Naija, the show will have 12 housemates who will compete for the prize of N25 million and a brand new KIA Sorento car. Sponsored by PayPorte, the program will run for 78 days, starting 22 January 2017 with a two-hour, live, televised launch and end on 9 April 2017 with a two-hour, live, televised finale.
