It’s Entertainment Overload This May On GOtv

GOtv has unveiled a schedule of exciting programmes for its subscribers for the month of May including the hottest telenovelas, movies, documentaries, kiddies’ shows and general entertainment.

The drama continues this month on Lord of the Skies as Omar invites Rutila to dinner at his place. Meanwhile, Nicandro returns Aurelio’s money to him and begs for forgiveness. Watch the story unfold every week night at 10pm on Telemundo (channel 14).

Then on Mehek, Norah and Kara’s relationship experiences a strain resulting in a whole lot of drama! Catch the exciting episodes of Mehek on Zee World (channel 25) daily at 8pm

Quality local entertainment is adequately provided for subscribers all through the month, with new episodes of Gbajumo Osere airing every Friday at 10:30am on Africa Magic Yoruba. Gbajumo Osere is an exciting interview show that features current raves in music, acting and other celebrities, who provide glimpses into their professional careers and personal lives.

Also on the list is Heels and Sneakers, the riveting drama showing on Tuesdays at 4pm on ROK 3. Pinto gets involved in drugs on his trip to Jamaica. However, runs back home to seek refuge. What happens to him when he returns? Watch it and find out!

For fans of documentaries, shows like Finding Justice (which will be showing on BET, Sunday 19 May at 6pm) are available to satisfy their appetite. The show goes beyond exploring the devastation caused by racial injustice in African-American communities by intimately tracking real-life journeys towards change.

The kids have a lot to choose from on their return from school and during the weekend. Among these is a new season of Vampirina, which will be showing weekdays from Monday 27 May at 4:30pm on Disney Junior. Vampirina offers more batty adventures and surprises. She may be blue with pointed teeth, but she’s not that different underneath.

No 'Shower Hour' On Big Brother Naija - Says MultiChoice

As preparations are in top gear for the second edition of social reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, organisers have revealed that there will be no broadcast of nude footage called ‘Shower Hour’, when the show returns on January 22, 2017. This comes to some fans as ‘decent’, following the controversies generated by that segment of the show, during the now rested continental edition, Big Brother Africa (BBA). MultiChoice is bringing back the Nigerian version of the series after 10 years. It had announced after the last edition of BBA that each African country will stage the show henceforth. Renamed Big Brother Naija, the show will have 12 housemates who will compete for the prize of N25 million and a brand new KIA Sorento car. Sponsored by PayPorte, the program will run for 78 days, starting 22 January 2017 with a two-hour, live, televised launch and end on 9 April 2017 with a two-hour, live, televised finale.
