Ghana Sets Her Eyes On Presenting The Best Creative Minds At Global Entrepreneurs’ Competition

Empire Protocol, of the Empire Group of Companies, has been selected by the Denmark- based Creative Business Network to offer entrepreneurs in Ghana an expansive opportunity at the global stage.

Within their mandate as one of over 52 National Partners representing countries all over the globe, Empire Protocol will host the 2019 Creative Business Cup – Ghana (CBC-Gh). Empire’s mission is for CBC-Gh to be   the   nation’s   center   for   creativity, focused   on   innovation, ideation, and   sustainable engagement of the entrepreneurial community.

This platform capitalizes on the huge potential of Ghana’s creative ecosystem in order to prepare entrepreneurs to compete nationally and regionally to represent Ghana at the “Olympic games” of the creative industry – the Global Creative Business Cup Competition.

Following the invitation to partner the initiative, and in a gesture of solidarity for innovative entrepreneurship, the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) under the umbrella initiative of the Ministry of Business Development of the Republic of Ghana, has endorsed the CBC-Gh and  will  play  a  key  role  in  offering  feedback  and  strategic  guidance  to  participating entrepreneurs.

The CBC-Gh competition will commence registration of participants on Friday, February 1, 2019 via their online portal at  www.creativebusinesscupgh.com.  The  experience  is  open  to  both collective and independent creative entrepreneurs (established and emerging) and creative industry advocates from all sectors who seek professional development and opportunities to network and pitch to investors on a global platform.

Details of the participation criteria will be published on the website and across various digital and offline platforms.

The screening, selection of finalist and the training sessions will all take place in the weeks leading to the national finals, slated for March 23, 2019. The main stage event will be televised through partnership with GHOne Television and covered by supporting media networks.

Among the  anticipated  attendees  for  the  national  finals  are  the  Creative  Business  Network representatives  (Global  &  Regional),  Angel  Investors,  Ministers  and  delegates  of  respective industries, professionals, artisans and other stakeholders of the competition.

No 'Shower Hour' On Big Brother Naija - Says MultiChoice

As preparations are in top gear for the second edition of social reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, organisers have revealed that there will be no broadcast of nude footage called ‘Shower Hour’, when the show returns on January 22, 2017. This comes to some fans as ‘decent’, following the controversies generated by that segment of the show, during the now rested continental edition, Big Brother Africa (BBA). MultiChoice is bringing back the Nigerian version of the series after 10 years. It had announced after the last edition of BBA that each African country will stage the show henceforth.
