Hurray: GOtv Marks 5 Years With One Week Open Time

The year 2013 will always be a special period for GOtv in Ghana! A product from the same stable as MultiChoice Ghana, GOtv continues to thrill subscribers riveting entertainment for the whole family. To mark its fifth anniversary of operations in Ghana, GOtv has announced it will open its GOtv MAX channels to all GOtv Plus subscribers for one week.

This Open Week will start from Friday 19 October to Friday, 26 October 2018. Active customers on the GOtv Plus bouquet will be treated to a special offering; a week-long access to over 65 channels on the GOtv MAX package. GOtv MAX hosts a wide variety of sports and entertainment content such as La Liga on SuperSport Select 4, Fox Entertainment, Sony MAX, CBS Reality and more which will be available at no additional cost to GOtv Plus customers.

During this Open Time two new channels BET tor more global entertainment and SuperSport Select 5 dedicated to live Italian Serie A soccer will be launching on the GOtv MAX package. All these come just before the El Clasico, La Liga’s top game between Barcelona and Real Madrid on October 28, live exclusively on GOtv MAX.

According to Kingsley Afful, General Manager for GOtv Ghana, “over the last five years we have continued to grow and better understand our customer’s needs. When customers requested for more sports we created the MAX package that has all of La Liga and selected Premier league matches every weekend”.  “Furthermore, this year for the first time we brought GOgetters all the sixty four matches live from the  FIFA World Cup and recently added the Italian Serie A also onto the MAX package”.

No 'Shower Hour' On Big Brother Naija - Says MultiChoice

As preparations are in top gear for the second edition of social reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, organisers have revealed that there will be no broadcast of nude footage called ‘Shower Hour’, when the show returns on January 22, 2017. This comes to some fans as ‘decent’, following the controversies generated by that segment of the show, during the now rested continental edition, Big Brother Africa (BBA). MultiChoice is bringing back the Nigerian version of the series after 10 years. It had announced after the last edition of BBA that each African country will stage the show henceforth. Renamed Big Brother Naija, the show will have 12 housemates who will compete for the prize of N25 million and a brand new KIA Sorento car.
