Children To Experience And Understand The Elections With Ananse

Ghana’s Parables Productions has become notable for it’s celebration of Ghanaian folklore, through animation.

The company has given families avenues to bond over wholesome entertainment and celebrate our culture.

On the 27th of December 2016, at the Silverbird Cinemas – Accra, Parables will bring animated characters to live, in the bid to celebrate a peaceful election.

The show, which is a mixed bag of stories, oratory, folk music and animation, is targeted at teaching children on leadership.

Speaking to Cecil Jones Abban, he said, “On the 27th, Ananse will be brought to live, as he runs for office. Our aim is to help the children identify what makes one a good leader. We aim to give them a feel and understanding of the elections”.

Mr. Abban hoped that every Ghanaian family would aim at attending the family fun experience.

No 'Shower Hour' On Big Brother Naija - Says MultiChoice

As preparations are in top gear for the second edition of social reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, organisers have revealed that there will be no broadcast of nude footage called ‘Shower Hour’, when the show returns on January 22, 2017. This comes to some fans as ‘decent’, following the controversies generated by that segment of the show, during the now rested continental edition, Big Brother Africa (BBA). MultiChoice is bringing back the Nigerian version of the series after 10 years. It had announced after the last edition of BBA that each African country will stage the show henceforth. Renamed Big Brother Naija, the show will have 12 housemates who will compete for the prize of N25 million and a brand new KIA Sorento car.
