Tonto Dike Husband, OLAKUNLE CHURCHILL Honored At Young CEO’S Business Summit

 It will be remembered that OLAKUNLE CHURCHILL recently was made a Nigerian Goodwill Ambassador at the United Nation’s 2015 Nigerian Goodwill Ambassador Awards on the recognition of his impacts in humanitarian activities. 

On the 22nd of April, Young CEOs Global Awards under the auspices of the Young CEOs Business Summit presented him a ‘Special Recognition Award’ at an event held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotels, Abuja, Nigeria. This award was in acknowledgment that his strategies and platforms have been deployed as proof for his resolve to play an active and strategic part in Africa's entrepreneurship growth. 

The Young CEO’s Business Summit is a prestigious world summit that seeks to empower and redefine businesses in Africa comes back to Nigeria for the second time since its inception in Dubai. The summit has already been held in Dubai, Ghana, London and Lagos. Abuja had its own turn of hosting the respected gathering on both 22nd and 23rd of April, 2016.


The YCBS Abuja-Nigeria 2016 gathered about 200 cautiously selected young entrepreneurs around West Africa especially those from Nigeria to discuss the THEME: “Promoting Nigeria’s non-Oil Sector & stimulating SMEs for inclusive growth: the new paradigm and learn from international veterans in selected fields.”

The summit had international businessmen and women converge to discuss the theme, also to map out new strategies on how to explore the immeasurable business opportunities in the non-Oil sector, while stimulating the SME sector in Nigeria for inclusive growth.

No 'Shower Hour' On Big Brother Naija - Says MultiChoice

As preparations are in top gear for the second edition of social reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, organisers have revealed that there will be no broadcast of nude footage called ‘Shower Hour’, when the show returns on January 22, 2017. This comes to some fans as ‘decent’, following the controversies generated by that segment of the show, during the now rested continental edition, Big Brother Africa (BBA). MultiChoice is bringing back the Nigerian version of the series after 10 years. It had announced after the last edition of BBA that each African country will stage the show henceforth. Renamed Big Brother Naija, the show will have 12 housemates who will compete for the prize of N25 million and a brand new KIA Sorento car. Sponsored by PayPorte, the program will run for 78 days, starting 22 January 2017 with a two-hour, live, televised launch and end on 9 April 2017 with a two-hour, live, televised finale.
