The excitement hit fever pitch as The Voice Nigeria premiered with a bang yesterday, Sunday 10th of April 2016 on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv 151) and Africa Magic Urban (DStv Ch153).

The coaches got the show running with a medley of Tubaba’s hit track, Implication, and in no time we saw the contestants impressing the coaches with their abilities, a tide that turned when the coaches had to vie for the successful singers joining their respective camps.

At the end of Sunday’s episode, girl-power prevailed as Emem and Arese joined #TeamWaje, while #TeamTubaba signed on Gabriel and the Warri boy Tobore. The big-voiced Victoria joined #TeamTimi and #TeamPatoranking signed on Elizabeth.

It was an adrenaline filled debut episode with much more excitement to come in future episodes!
