GLITZ AFRICA MAGAZINE ANNOUNCES WOMEN OF THE YEAR HONOURS!

Glitz Africa, publishers of Glitz Africa Magazine and creators of the Glitz Africa Fashion Week and Glitz Style Awards is proud to announce the “Women of the Year Honours”.

The Glitz brand has over the years championed various causes that seek to equip and empower women to have more rewarding lifestyles that motivate others, notable among them being our Maternal health support project.

The time has come for us to celebrate and appreciate women who have shown excellence, commitment and dedication in their various endeavors and spheres of leadership.

In our current dispensation, the most effective tool for development in society is the empowerment of women, hence Glitz Africa’s initiative to celebrate outstanding women who in their own ways and have used their expertise, positions and influence to champion worthy causes and make a difference in our society while also inspiring others to improve their well being, develop to their full potential and bring about change.

A two day conference  slated for May, dubbed  the “She Summit” will bring together women to inspire and motivate each other, followed by a health walk and an awards Gala honouring  women who have excelled in various fields.

“It’s imperative we celebrate people who go out of their way to positively affect other lives. To them it may seem they’re fulfilling their passion, but to us, the giant strides they take, make them positive role models and have greatly influenced women” -  Claudia Lumor, CEO, Glitz Africa.

A four -week comprehensive media campaign inviting nominations from the public in the form of an essay will be initiated. These nominations should outline the nominee’s contribution to her society. It should not be more than 200 words.
