Pappy Kojo, Criss Waddle & Others To Rock YFM Area Code Jams In Tema

Come Saturday April 30, all roads would lead to the Tema Sports Stadium as Ghana’s number one urban radio station, YFM, invades the area with yet another edition of Area Codes Jam.

The show, which is expected to start at 7pm, would have a host of top-notch artistes like Pappy Kojo, Episode, Bra Kevin, 2 Fingers, Opanka, Feli Nuna, Criss Waddle, Mr. Eazi and Joey B among others performing.

Tema happens to be the first to kick start the YFM Area Code Jams this year.

According to the event organizers, the event put together by YFM and sponsored by Guinness Ghana is expected to light up the port city especially as it will be the first time this year that a number of the acts will be mounting the stage.

“YFM Area Code Jams has over the years maintained the record of being the number one event in Ghana that brings entertainment to the doorsteps of the youth. This year promises to be even bigger and better than the ones we have had before that have come before,” Miss Naa, Station Manager of YFM stated.  


The Area Codes Jam is most popular among neighborhoods especially as the area that hosts it is determined by an on-air poll. The next area to host it will be decided by the public on Y107.9FM.

As preparations are in top gear for the second edition of social reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, organisers have revealed that there will be no broadcast of nude footage called ‘Shower Hour’, when the show returns on January 22, 2017.
