First Ghana Film & Television Crew Award Comes Soon

Ghanaian film and television crew can finally heave a sigh of relief as an upcoming award ceremony targets to celebrate their achievements.

The Ghana Film & Television Awards is the first of its kind and it is to recognise and acknowledge the unsung heroes- the crew men and women, in Ghana’s television and film industries.

Awards will be given to light and sound men and women, directors and D.O.P, among others who work hard behind the scenes.

The award ceremony is set to be powered by Epic Wave Multimedia, Footprint Entertainment and DELPARK Services.

The award which would be launched very soon comes at a time behind-the- camera crew members have been complaining about the inability of the industry to properly recognise their works.

Thus the award is being applauded and it is anticipated to provide a good platform to challenge crew members to work extra to enliven the standards in their industry.

2016 Ghana Movie Awards Entry Closes October 20

The 2016 Ghana Movie Awards (MAG) has announced that entry for submission of works will close on October 20. This follows MAG's new strategy to open entry all year round immediately after hosting the awards in December.
