MUSE AFRICA ANNOUNCES IMPORTANT NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH TANZANIA’S TV1

Muse Media Networks will, beginning April 2016, begin running its television programming block on Tanzanian TV station, TV1.

This follows a partnership agreement finalized with the channel to broadcast MUSE terrestrial blocks in Tanzania.

Muse has, since it began operating in June 2015, been the most engaging urban music, culture, lifestyle and entertainment brand in Ghana.

It has achieved this through the delivery of compelling urban music and entertainment content to its mostly millennial audiences, via its TV block on Viasat1 in Ghana and via its online platform, www.museafrica.com, integrated to the brands social media properties:

Muse’s TV block on Viasat1 airs Muse programming from Monday to Friday, including its original TV show, #ThisWeekOnMuse with Antoine Mensah, and its website, museafrica.com, gives a fresh take on entertainment news. The brand also uses its social media properties to engage with fans and fellow industry players.

This new partnership with TV1 in Tanzania is an addition to a growing number of impressive achievements made by the Muse team.

Speaking on the new partnership, Sadiq Abdulai Abu, Co-founder/CEO of Muse Media Networks, remarked, “We’re really excited about this new partnership with Tanzania’s TV1. Not only will it broaden our reach and increase our brand awareness efforts, but it also feeds directly into our pan-African agenda of providing superior, multi-platform urban music and entertainment experiences to millennials all across the continent.

We’re happy to have been given the opportunity to bring the value we create to the Tanzanian broadcasting, music and entertainment space. We are confident the Tanzanian millennial audience and the brands that seek to target them will love our products.”

Ben Amadasun, the CEO of TV1, also spoke about the new Muse-TV1 partnership, saying, “As one of the leading entertainment channels in Tanzania, TV1 has already established a strong reputation of producing and sourcing the best local and pan African content that resonates with our target viewers. We are delighted to be partnering with Muse Media to launch this exciting new program in the Tanzanian market following its successful launch in Ghana.

We expect that this program will help broaden our audience base, especially among the 15-34 target demographic, and increase interaction and engagement with them on social media platforms. This show will set a new standard for music content in Tanzania.”
