Ghanaian & Nigerian Female Celebrities For Juliet Ibrahim Foundation Celebrity Soccer Match In Ghana

On Sunday the 1st of May, 2016, the Lizzy Sports Complex in East Legon, Accra, Ghana will play host to one of the most exciting charity events of the year, as the Juliet Ibrahim Foundation (JIF) brings you their annual Female Celebrities Soccer Match.

This year, select Nigerian and Ghanaian female celebrities will give up their time and pull on their boots for a good cause in an 11-a-side game where the ladies led by the Nigerian Captain, Halima Abubakar and the Ghanaian Captain, Nana Ama McBrown will slug it out to raise funds for critical needs of patients suffering from kidney related ailments.

The celebrities who will be supporting with their own various NGO’s are presently gearing up for what is touted to be the ‘match of the year’.


According to the founder of the JIF, Juliet Ibrahim,

“The ultimate goal is to support charitable beneficiaries as recognised by the Juliet Ibrahim Foundation. Amongst the patients that will benefit from this cause include;  a 34 year old lady; Debbie Nwaozor a sickle cell carrier recently diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and requires a renal replacement therapy (Kidney transplantation and dialysis)”

Tickets are now on sale, priced at just 10 cedis for regular and 40 cedis for VIP at the Bedouin, Shish lounge, Osu, Accra, Ghana.
