Starr Woman Project Takes Off Today

Starr 103.5 FM will today kick start the maiden edition of “The Starr Woman Project” with a seminar at the Alisa Hotel at 6pm prompt.

The event being sponsored by Lydia Contraceptive is free to the public.

The ‘Starr Woman Project’ is a platform created by Starr 103.5 FM to equip young female entrepreneurs with the requisite knowledge and motivation to propel them to achieve their full potential. For a growing economy like Ghana to achieve its middle-income status, it is imperative that the youth are well equipped with certain essential entrepreneurship skills so not to over rely on the public sector for revenue and self – development.

Unfortunately, the myriads of entrepreneurial outreach programs are hardly built or skewed for the unique needs of a woman.

The aim of this project is to equip young women entrepreneurs with the relevant knowledge, skill and motivation to achieve their fullest potential as entrepreneurs.

The seminar will focus on the theme “Getting the Basics Right As A Young Female Entrepreneur” with stakeholders on issues relating to women empowerment.

The Seminar will feature five women entrepreneurs including multi-talented and multi- facetted award-wining broadcaster, Anita Erskine, with almost 20 years of media industry experience and the desire to make immense social changes in the lives of women across the globe.

Telenovela Channel Eva+ Launches On GOtv And DStv In November

Eva+ will begin airing on Tuesday, 1st of November on GOtv Plus on channel 113 as well as all DStv packages on channels 142.
