Hot Power Couple? See How Cartel Big J And Selly Rocked The EMY Awards

The just ended Exclusive Man of the Year awards seemed to have brought  together our favorite celebrities and corporate figures.

With the likes of Bola Ray, KKD the finest, Lexis Bills,  Claudia Lumor, Irene Logan, Nadia Buari and many more, lighting a spark of flair.

Without a ticket or any form of access to the venue, I observed closely on all forms of media that dispensed information from the Banquet Hall, where the event took place. From my observation, the tailor cut suits, designer gowns, shoes and accessories, seemed to blend peferctly with the red carpet, which carried an aura of class.

My attention was constantly drifting to individuals who rocked with style. It was indeed a kaleidoscopic view, as the dappled patterns created music to the eyes. One couple that however stood out, was the pair of Praye's Cartel Big J and Screen Diva Selly Galley. The couple who got married in September 2015, in what may have been Ghana's biggest celebrity wedding, seemed very much in love, as they dazzled in style.

Selly is no stranger to slaying the red ccarpet as she has constantly been shortlisted for Eurostar Limousines' best dress celebrities for various events. The Actress/TV and event host, seems to have a closet filled with glamorous dresses and accessories and an appetite for stealing the show, when she walks in every auditorium. However, on this night her most beautiful accessory was her dear husband, who held on to her with the warmth of his arm and they both stole the show together.

Speaking to Selly and Cartel after social media users went into a frenzy and began reposting their pictures from the awards, the couple stated that their style is inspired by love and the need to compliment each other. "My husband always wants me to look good when I step in public, whether he's by my side or not and I want the same for him, so we always make suggestions on what each other should wear", Selly stated as her husband continued, " Picking out our attires is just like the entire concept of marriage. It can't be perfect without team work".

After getting quotes from them, I began to realize that Mr and Mrs Fiawoo may be on their way to becoming Ghana's first celebrity power couple. Like the elders say, time is pregnant with history and only the patient will see the result of its labor.
