Full List Of Winners of Exclusive Men of the Year (EMY) Awards – Ghana Edition

Founder of HODA Group of companies, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, HODA was on Saturday crowned Man of the Year (Governance) in the 2016 Exclusive Men of the Year (EMY) Awards held at the Banquet Hall, State House, Accra.

Growing media group EIB Network, which has broadcaster Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye Adisi, a.k.a Bola Ray as its CEO, took home the topmost prize for communication along with radio host Kwame Sefa Kayi.

EIB Network operates GHone TV, Agoo TV, Starr 103.5 FM, Live 91.9 FM, Kasapa 102.5 FM all in Accra, Ultimate FM (Kumasi), Agoo FM (Nkawkaw), Empire FM (Takoradi) and Abusua FM (Kumasi). Three new radio stations are going up in Cape Coast, Koforidua and Tamale in the next few months. The group also owns The Daily Heritage Newspaper.

The event, hosted by Naa Ashorkor and Nathaniel Atooh also saw top rapper, Sarkodie, taking the prize for Entertainer of the Year.

Telecel Ghana CEO Featured In KNUST's 75th Anniversary Commemorative Publication

Telenovela Channel Eva+ Launches On GOtv And DStv In November

Eva+ will begin airing on Tuesday, 1st of November on GOtv Plus on channel 113 as well as all DStv packages on channels 142. Similarly to Eva, Eva+ will offer high production value Latin American telenovelas fully dubbed in English and Portuguese languages, and will be the first channel in AMC Networks International UK’s (AMCNI UK) regional portfolio to be available on MultiChoice’s DTT platform. The Ghana Football Association has hosted the official launch of the World Cup Bonanza at its headquarters in Accra, bringing together leadership from the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and key partners to unveil a national raffle that will reward 220 Ghanaian football fans with trips to the 2026 World Cup.
