Ghana Music Week Festival To Be Launched In London

Musiga will launch the maiden edition of the Ghana Music Week Festival (GMW-UK) in UK this August.

With the main goal of creating the biggest platform in the UK to market Ghanaian music and tourism to the world; as well as attracting tourist traffic to Ghana, the official media launch of GMW-UK 2016 would be held at the Conference Hall of the Ghana High Commission, 13 Belgrave Square, London SW1X 8PN, August 2016.

The launch will unveil to the general public, details such as event date, venue, format as well as headline artistes and sponsors for GMW-UK 2016.

A big-name artiste from highlife, hiplife, dancehall, gospel and traditional Ghanaian music genres each, would be announced at the Media Launch in London.
This was confirmed when GMW & Musiga Executives led by GMW Director, Verus Nartey, met with the Ghana High Commissioner, H.E. Victor Emmanuel Smith at the Ghana High Commission in London.

The main GMW-UK 2016 would be held at a plush venue in London in October 2016.

Ghana Music Week (GMW), is a 7-day music festival held annually in Ghana early March, since 2013. As the industry's biggest platform bringing together artistes, stakeholders, the media, decision/policy makers and music users, it coincides with Ghana's Independence Day (March 6), each year.
