Samini And Shatta Wale To Sign A Peace Pact At FREEDOM CONCERT 2016

A year after putting together what has been described as the biggest musical concert of 2015 in Kumasi by a new event organization, Experts Consult Limited is set to make another history on the Ghanaian music scene as it looks forward to forging the much expected unity among two of Ghana’s top dancehall artists.

Announced as headline artists for this year’s Freedom Concert, Samini and Shatta Wale will for the first time mount the same stage after several reports emerged of their differences.

As part of a call for peace and unity as the country heads to the polls, the two artists have called for calm among their fans and are expected to make a memorable statement as they entertain their fans on the 5th and 6th of March  2016 in Accra and Kumasi respectively.

Quite different from last year’s edition, Freedom Concert 2016, will for the first time be hosted in the two biggest cities of Ghana; Kumasi and Accra.

Kumasi will kick start the events on the 5th of March 2016 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with Kakai hit maker Shatta Wale, MOBO award winner Samini, reunited Praye, invincible Obrafour, evergreen Tic Tac and the King of the streets Kwaw Kese. The event will be hosted by Ghanaian actor and comedian Lilwin.

Regular tickets for Kumasi sell at GHC10 and GHC20 whereas VIP tickets sell at GHC40.

Accra will not be left out of the celebrations as it will for the first time have its feel with the same line up of artists at the La Pleasure Beach on Ghana’s Independence Day, 6th March 2016.

Tickets for the Accra event sell at only GHC20.

Speaking to the press, CEO of Reflects Ghana, Nathaniel Johnson revealed the aim of the Freedom Concert is bring people together to relive the joy of Ghana’s independence and by so doing promote peace and a greater sense of nationalism.
