MISS GHANA SOUTH AFRICA 2016 CALLS FOR ENTRIES

Miss Ghana Pageant is the largest and oldest national beauty pageant of Ghana which ensues annually and organized by different media companies at different periods to appoint Ghana’s representative to the annual Miss World Pageant every year.

The contest was established in the 1957, the same year Ghana attained it independence with Monica Amekoafia becoming the first-ever Miss Ghana.

Every winner of the pageant signs a one-year contract with the organizers to become spokesperson for various charity works and to add up, winner of Miss Ghana chooses a particular cause to support the year of her reign.

Miss Ghana has broadened its wings across the globe, having representatives in almost every country on the planet. To count few of them are, Miss Ghana UK, Miss Ghana USA, Miss Ghana Belgium, Miss Ghana Nigeria, Miss Ghana Canada, Miss Ghana Italy and yours accurately Miss Ghana South Africa among others.

On this note; organizers of Miss Ghana “South Africa” wish to alert Ghanaians living in South Africa about the entry of 2016 Miss Ghana, slated for August 27, at Bryanston Country Club position in Johannesburg.

Please carefully read the following information and ensure that you meet all entry requirements and can commit to all of the rules of Miss Ghana South Africa.

Eligibility:

You must be at least 18 years of age and not older than 28 years of age by the date of the competition.

You must be single

You must be born female.

You must be in South Africa.

You must be in excellent physical and mental health.

You must submit a R200 non-refundable application fee with the application. All fees must be in the form of a certified check or money order.

You must provide proof of age; i.e., copy of driver’s license, birth certificate or SA I.D., passport.

You must provide two non-returnable photos, any size: one full length and one head shot.

You must be willing to travel at your own expense to the national competition, wherever said pageant is held within the continental South Africa.

To be considered you must complete and return all required application items in a timely manner.

You must provide a personal biography no longer than one page.
