The most anticipated VGMA is set to release the 2016 Edition of the nomination list in a grand brand new style.
Most of us love the VGMAs for a myriad of reasons. Some love it because of the fact that their favorite artistes get to win awards, others love it for the photo opportunity with the celebrities and some love it because they get to see top artistes bring their A game on the night of the event.
However, many others love the #VGMAs because of the fact that there is always something new every year.
Last year, it was the introduction of the Reggae / Dancehall Artiste of the Year, and this year organizers are taking the bar a notch higher. They are changing the nominees’ announcement style. Yes, every year we all gather at a plush location and we get to hear the nominees of the various categories, this year it’s going to be different.
It’s a radio, TV and social media take over. The nominees will be released in bits on the hour every hour from 12:00pm – 6:00pm on air and online before the grand party later on in the evening.
It’s different, innovative and a way of grabbing the attention of the nation for 6 hours on Friday, February 26th. All ears and eyes will have to be clued to GhOne TV, Starr 103.5 FM, Live 91.9 FM, Kasapa 102.3 FM, Empire 102.7 FM, Ultimate 106.9 FM and of cause live on social media @GHMusicAwards, @CharterhouseGH, and our official handles as well.
It’s a take-over of the media, on-air and online. Don’t forget, to stay glued to your phones, TV and radio sets. It’s a total media shutdown so you definitely don’t want to miss out.
