TRESOR Receives An MTV Africa Music Awards Nomination For BEST POP Artist

The reigning winner of the coveted #BESTPOP Album at the 22nd annual South African Music Awards (SAMA), chart topping, award-winning South African artist, TRESOR, has received a nod from the highly respected MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) with a nomination in the category #BESTPOP artist for their upcoming awards ceremony taking place on 22 October 2016.

“I am really excited about the Best Pop nomination at the 2016 MAMAs! It's such a massive achievement to be recognized amongst Africa's incredible talent. Really looking forward to continuing to push myself more to represent African pop music globally” expresses TRESOR.

TRESOR is already making a mark globally with his African pop music as he receives this MAMA nomination off the back of receiving his second number #1 BEST SELLING dance song in Italy iTunes for his hit single Never Let Me Go (Spade Remix), beating the likes of Justin Bieber, Calvin Harris and Rihanna for the in demand spot.

2016 Ghana Movie Awards Entry Closes October 20

The 2016 Ghana Movie Awards (MAG) has announced that entry for submission of works will close on October  20. This follows MAG's new strategy to open entry all year round immediately after hosting the awards in December.
