Lethal Weapon, Blindspot On M-NET This Month

The most talked about movie to TV adaptation, Lethal Weapon, is coming to M-Net channel 101 on DStv “Express from the US” from Thursday 22 September at 5:30pm.

Based on the hit movie franchise of the same name, Lethal Weapon tells the story of classic cop duo Martin Riggs (played by Clayne Crawford, Rectify) and Roger Murtaugh (played by Damon Wayans, My Wife and Kids) as they work the beat on the streets of a crime-ridden Los Angeles.

They’re about to become the LAPD’s best law enforcers if Riggs doesn’t get them killed first. There’s also plenty of high-octane action, close-shave accidents and of course, quick-witted chemistry between these two talented leads.

The enigmatic thriller Blindspot kicks off its second season, this Friday 16 September at midnight (Express from the US) and repeated on Thursday’s 7:30pm. In the Season 2 premiere, Jane escapes CIA custody, only to be recaptured by the team, who attempt to convince her to become a triple-agent within her old terrorist organization.
Some major secrets from her past and present are about to be uncovered. Luke Mitchell (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Michelle Hurd (Hawaii Five-0) and Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) join the cast.

Their explorations lead to the unravelling of an ever-widening web of conspiracy and corruption, as well as the revelation of Jane’s real identity and the identity of her deadly consorts.
