Berla Mundi Foundation To Launch 2016 Event

The Berla Mundi foundation has announced that it would officially launch its activities for 2016 on the 30th September.

The launch which is scheduled to be held on-air on Live91.9 FM would serve as the opening of a process to raise funds for the foundation’s Christmas event which is scheduled for the 24th of December 2016.

The event dubbed “Christmas with Berla Mundi; The Borstal Edition” would be held at the Juvenile Correctional Centre in Osu.

The foundation seeks to amongst other things stock the facility with basic necessities to make life for the young people who live there worthwhile.

Award winning Radio and Television personality Berlinda Addardey popularly known as Berla Mundi has said the move is part of her efforts to make life meaningful for young people especially those who are deprived in her society.

Berla Mundi also disclosed that several activities including “Mall fundraising drives” would be held in the coming weeks at the various Shopping Malls in Accra with the first expected to be held on the 1st of October at the West Hills Mall in Accra.

She further went on to call on all well-meaning Ghanaians to join her on what she terms as the journey to touch lives in their own little way.

The event is supported by Ahaban Foundation (Green Leaf Foundation) with media partners Ameyawdebrah.com and Cypressgh.blogspot.com.
