Accra City Hotel Donates To The Children’s Hospital In Accra

Accra City Hotel formally Novotel over the last nine months has been going through major restructuring as part of the rebranding process.

On 15th September, 2016, we celebrated our 28th Anniversary. As part of this celebration, we had one week of activities in and out of the hotel. This celebration sought to see all staff, our guests and the community around us share in the excitement.

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, the management team visited the Princess Marie Louise Children’s Hospital in Accra on the13th of September and made donations to them. Some of these included plastic chairs, sanitary products among others which would be helpful to patients, staff and the hospital as a whole.

On 14th September, the day before our hotel’s anniversary day, we witnessed all staff taking group photographs according to their various departments, showing off their respective new uniforms.

The Accounts, Sales, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Reservation and Front Office, Maintenance, Purchasing and IT departments all took their turns in the photo shoot with style.
Our anniversary day, 15th September, was a day to remember. The day was filled with happy moments where we appreciate our guests in our celebration. We shared special anniversary day cupcakes to them from our kitchen as it even came as a surprise to some.

Also, the staffs were not left out. A cocktail event was held for them as part of celebrating our 28th anniversary with lots of music, taking of pictures among friends and bosses, socialization with other department staffs and sounds of laughter among them as they showed their excitement.

With all these taking place, we did not forget our long serving staff that had shown dedication to their work over the years from Novotel, and then to Accra City Hotel. They were given loyalty award to show appreciation.
