AIRTEL HARMONIOUS CHIOR OPENED AIRTEL ADOM PRAIZ 2016 WITH AWE-INSPIRING PERFORMANCE ON FRIDAY

One of the most peculiar features of the 2016 edition of Airtel Adom Praiz, the most authentic magnetic alter of heavenly worship and praise in Ghana, is the performance of Airtel Harmonious Choir which, opened the event with their awe-inspiring voices to the admiration of patrons.

The internal interdenominational Choir at the Smartphone Network which, first performed at the launch of the event, is made up of employees belonging to Choirs of many different churches.

Speaking after the event, Mr. Cornelius Kakraba, Head of Marketing and Brand Communications at Airtel Ghana said, “We do more than sponsor events, we participate actively to emphasize our interest and belief in what we are sponsoring. The Airtel Harmonious Choir did not disappoint patrons at all. Their performance told them exactly what they should expect and we all saw what happened. This year’s event is the biggest ever.”

“Just look at the faces of patrons and the message is clear. They savored every moment. They had a real heavenly experience and we are proud to be part of this,” he said.

The five-hour songs and ministrations which, held the bodies, souls and spirits of patrons together in a heavenly ambiance of worship and praise was led by singers of internationally acclaimed Brooklyn Tabernacle and local gospel giants: Joe Mettle, Obaa Pa Christie, Francis Amo, etc.,

Last year, renowned American gospel music singer and pastor of prominent Brooklyn New York megachurch, Love Fellowship Tabernacle, Hezekiah Walker graced the 6th Adom Praiz which, patrons testified was awesome.

Airtel Adom Praiz has over the years featured internationally acclaimed musicians and ministers of God, including CeCe Winnas, Kirk Franklin, and other iconic local gospel artistes. The main aim of the show is to give thanks to God for his continuous protection and also to celebrate artistes.

This follows MAG's new strategy to open entry all year round immediately after hosting the awards in December.
