Voting Begins For 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards

The release of nominees for the highly anticipated Vodafone Ghana Music Awards took an interesting turn this year. Many called it as total media take-over as nominees for the 2016 VGMA were announced every hour on the hour on radio, TV and online.

Social media was buzzing with reactions towards the nominees and many began the argument on who would win what and who deserved to be or not to be in the list.

The truth is that all the engagements and comments on social media will not amount to much if fans of nominees fail to vote for their favorites.

Your vote is the only way to push your favorite to win at the VGMAs; you have 40% of the voting power for all public voting categories except the Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year which gives the public total control with 100% vote weighing.

The commencement of voting turns the heat up in the race to win at the biggest event on the Ghanaian entertainment calendar. The race has begun and the only way you can ensure your favorite emerges winner is to vote massively for him or her. Your favorite artiste has done their part, they have released tracks that are worthy of nomination, now it’s your turn to return the favor by voting.

The Voting instructions are as follows; to vote for Artiste of the year, text A to 1767 and for Vodafone song of the year text B to 1767 for the Nominees and for the rest of the categories, text C to 1767 and follow the prompt.
