P.Y Addo-Boateng Returns To TV To Host University Gospel Choir Of The Year (UGCY)

Many of us would remember P.Y, from Viasat One Tv's, The One Show. He caught attention with his charming way of co-hosting the show and arguably became one of Ghana's most sought after male figures.

P.Y's run with The One Show, began in 2011 and ended in 2014, when he opted for a silent life.

Speaking to P.Y a few weeks ago, the CEO of Mi Prime Entertainment disclosed his yearning to spend more time with his family. " Being on television gives everybody access to you, reducing the access your family has to you. This is what I wanted to change", P.Y said.

P.Y, however surprised fans, when he made his first movie appearance in Interception, a  2015 action flick directed by Pascal Aka. The move came as a surprise to the industry, as many saw a previously unseen side of Mr. Addo-Boateng.

In an exciting turn of events, P.Y Addo-Boateng will soon be back on your screens, as the host of the University Gospel Choir of the Year (UGCY), a UK choral contest, which is set to make it's African debut beginning with Ghana.

The event which has Leicester University Voices, as it's UK champions, provides an unprecedented platform for University Gospel Choirs across the nation to develop and showcase their musical abilities.

P.Y promised to bring back the charm that captivated audience in times past.
