Starr 103.5FM Launches ‘Starr Woman Project’ Today

Starr 103.5 FM will today launch its maiden edition of the “Starr Woman Project” on The Zone.

The Starr Woman Project is an extension of 'The Zone' which seeks to equip young women entrepreneurs with the relevant knowledge, skill and motivation to achieve their fullest potential as entrepreneurs.

The idea is to tap into the expertise and get inspiration from success stories of industry experts and young achievers. “We believe that every woman has the potential to be a ‘Starr’” organisers said.

The project will be held quarterly under the following areas:

3. Marketing & Branding

2. Keeping Business Afloat (Second Quarter)

1. Entrepreneurship

4. Womens Awards (4th Quarter)

The launch will feature industry experts such as Gifty Anti (Broadcaster), Farida Bedwei (Co-Founder & Chief Technical Officer at Logiciel) and Baisiwa Dowuona- Hammond(Broadcaster).

The launch will be live on Starr 103.5FM at 12:45pm. The first edition of the Starr Woman Project is expected to come off April 8 at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.

2016 Ghana Movie Awards Entry Closes October 20

The 2016 Ghana Movie Awards (MAG) has announced that entry for submission of works will close on October 20. This follows MAG's new strategy to open entry all year round immediately after hosting the awards in December.
