AB CRENTSIL SPEAKS ON HIS HEALTH

Ghanaian Highlife music legend, AB Crentsil has publicly declared his health status saying as age continues to catch him day in and day out, he also grows weaker.

Speaking with Christian Agyemang on Accra based Onua FM in an exclusive interview, Uncle AB said age has caught up with him and he is not active as compared to his youthful age.

"Now things are not easy. You know my age is not getting younger so I won't be able to do things as usual. Now I am 73years. My health is not the same as my youthful age."

He however said even though he is physically not strong as he previously used to be, his voice is not affected and that he can perform on any platform.

"Though I am not stronger as I used to be, my voice is not affected and I can perform and sing correctly."

Talking about what he does to keep him strong a bit, Mr. Achah said he takes good care of himself in all things.

"I have been trying to be cautious about my health issues. Especially, in the food that I take, jumping from one woman to the other. Even my wife will be my witness and will praise me for that. My chief food is plantain and light soup."

AB Crentsil is one of the most respected music legends in Ghana and the world at large. He has performed on both platforms at home and abroad. He is best remembered for his song, 'Sokoo' in which he called on all the ten regions of the nation in that particular song.
