Patience Nyarko Confirms She’s Single And Searching

2016 VGMA Gospel song of the year and Gospel artist of the year nominee, Patience Nyarko, has in a recent radio interview confirmed that she is single and ready to venture into a relationship. 

The ‘Wafom Kwan’ hit maker, who  recently won the hearts of many Ghanaians and entertainment critics with her distinctive way in launching her second album, revealed this to the host of  Rainbow Radio Day Break show, Sokohemaa. 

“I am currently not dating because I don’t won’t to miss the way ‘implying to the title of her hit song ‘Wafom Kwan’ but waiting patiently to get into a relationship with the one God has sent”.

The musician cum songwriter, who went on the show to promote her latest ‘Wafom Kwan’ album also revealed in the interview that, as it stands now, she has no plans of getting married to a pastor, as most gospel musicians are well known of. 

She explained that, it takes a lot to be a pastor’s wife ‘osofo maame’ “I have no intension of getting married to a man of God but if the time comes and that’s the direction God wants me to go, I can’t reject His calling. But for me to just jump into a pastor’s arm because of favour or just because I want to be called “Osofo Maame” has never existed in my world” she said. 


The hit song ‘Wafom Kwan’ has been nominated for ‘Gospel song of the Year’ at this year’s VGMAs. Text M5 to 1767 to make sure the sensational singer bags home the award.
