UCC Honours Ohemaa Mercy

The Students' Representative Council of University of Cape Coast has honoured Ghanaian female gospel musician, Ohemaa Mercy.

The contemporary gospel singer real name Mrs. Mercy Twum-Ampofo was honoured for the humanitarian works her ministry; Ohemaa Mercy Ministry has undertaken for the past years.

Ohemaa Mercy received the honorarium award at NEC auditorium when the school organized its first ever “Excellence And Innovative Awards” on April 30, 2016. Humbled Ohemaa Mercy after receiving the plaque and citation from the school on the night of the event expressed joy and thanked the institution for acknowledging the works of her ministry. She promised to continue her philanthropic works to help the needy.

Rapper Kwaw Kese and actor James Gardner were also honoured on the night of the “Excellence And Innovative Awards 2016”.

2016 Ghana Movie Awards Entry Closes October 20

The 2016 Ghana Movie Awards (MAG) has announced that entry for submission of works will close on October 20. This follows MAG's new strategy to open entry all year round immediately after hosting the awards in December. Telenovela Channel Eva+ Launches On GOtv And DStv In November

Eva+ will begin airing on Tuesday, 1st of November on GOtv Plus on channel 113 as well as all DStv packages on channels 142.
