MUSIGA Commends GHAMRO On Successful Annual General Meeting

The Musicians Union of Ghana would like to congratulate the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) on the occasion of its successful Annual General Meeting which took place in Kumasi on Thursday.

MUSIGA would like to applaud the Board, management and staff of the organization for the diligent work you have done over the past year since the election of your board.

We at MUSIGA have been monitoring your progress since you were inducted into office after your election and would like to register our appreciation for the work you are doing. As you are aware, the bulk of Ghamro members are musicians who belong to the fold of the Musicians Union of Ghana therefore your progress is a source of joy to us since it means the interests of our members are being catered for.

Your AGM brought together your members from across the country to deliberate over the operations of the organization and reviewed the audited accounts of the organization and discussed other pertinent issues of interest to members.

It is on that note that the national leadership of MUSIGA congratulates you on your historic feat and wish you all the best in the coming years which should see increased collaboration between our two organizations for the development of the music industry in Ghana.

Meanwhile as the nation prepares for national elections in November we would like to urge the entire music industry in Ghana to remain committed to ensuring that the elections are peaceful and credible and support our peace initiative with STAR-Ghana.

Signed
