The GUBA-Greenwich Expo, second in its series, continues to uphold its aim of providing a common platform for African businesses and exploring collaborative opportunities for businesses in the UK. The expo is scheduled to take place from the 20th to the 22nd of May 2016 at the Charlton Athletic Football Club & Gordon Square, Woolwich.
Adam Afriyie, Member of Parliament (MP) for Windsor and the UK Trade Envoy to Ghana will be speaking as a headliner on Friday the 20th May at a seminar during the expo.
Many key guest speakers including: Councillor Sunny Lambe of Business Basic Initiative UK Ltd, Sharon Ganney of UKTI Ghana, Eryca Freemantle of Beauty & Makeup and Gillian Boateng of Gdesserts, Cllr John Fahyand the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Greenwich - Norman Adams will also be in attendance.
Adam Afriyie is a British Conservative Party politician. He was first elected in the 2005 general election and re-elected with increased majorities in the 2010 and 2015 elections. Prior to entering parliament Adam was a successful tech entrepreneur.
UK Trade Envoys are tasked with procuring and promoting positive inter-trade relations, an ethos synonymous to that of the GUBA Expo. Speaking on his participation at the GUBA Greenwich Expo - Adam Afriyie added:

The GUBA Greenwich Trade Expo is a partnership with GUBA Expo, the Royal Borough of Greenwich, the Association of Ghana Industries and the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre. The event will showcase small and medium sized African businesses seeking to establish their products in the British mainstream market. At the end of the expo, GUBA and the Royal Borough of Greenwich hope to see sustainable collaborations and lasting business relationships.
