Through forums, seminars, conferences, service programs, and interfaith peace initiatives, the Universal Peace Federation builds a global network of Peace Ambassadors to contribute to a world of sustainable peace in which everyone can live in freedom, harmony, cooperation, and prosperity. The federation is under the umbrella of the United Nations.
This year in celebration of the UN International Day of Families, the Universal Peace Federation unveiled their list of Peace Ambassadors in the National Merit Award House in Abuja, Nigeria honouring a select number of dignitaries and outstanding personalities who uphold their vision to Promote reconciliation and cooperation beyond traditional boundaries of religion, race, ethnicity, and nationality and also the ability to practice “living for the sake of others” as the guiding principle for building world peace and a global community.
Ghana's Peace Hyde has been selected to join this exclusive group of Peace Ambassadors based on her work with her award winning not-for-profit Aim Higher Africa which so far has been an agent of change providing formal education for over 300 street children and building a generation of young entrepreneurs.
Last year, the organisation won the Young CEO Global leader award and she is currently nominated for both categories of the International Business Woman of The Year Award and Business Woman of The Year award in the upcoming Woman4Africa Awards in Kensington, London.
