Photos: Winners Of Radio & Television Personality (RTP) Awards Tour Dubai

Big Events Ghana, organizers of the prestigious Radio & Television Personality (RTP) Awards, in conjunction with Flight Center International, a Travel & Tour Agency – promised the top three winners of the 2015 edition of the scheme, a trip to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Two of the winning three radio and TV personalities, Patrice Amegashie (Viasat 1 TV) and Kwame Adinkra (Atinka FM) made the trip to Dubai earlier this week.

The two made the trip together with the CEO of Big Events Ghana, Prince Mackay and spent a week in the city, regarded to be one of the most beautiful and expensive cities in the world.

Bola Ray, the other winner of the top prize was unable to make the trip due to his involvement with recent held Tigo ‘Ghana Meets Naija’ musical concert.

The Radio & Television Personality Awards is one of the most prestigious awards in the country that seeks to extol excellence in the media landscape.


Speaking to Prince Mackay, CEO of the awards, he stated that Big Events Ghana intends to make educational and fun trips a standard prize package for RTP Award winners and as a result, they are in talks with international media platforms like CNN, BBC, DW, ALJAZEERA, DSTV and SABC to assist in giving RTP Award winners some training programs every year.

Prince Mackay called on Airline Companies, Travel and Tour Agencies and Corporate Ghana to assist in sponsoring RTP Award winners for such educational trips.
