This Year's RTP Awards Was Smooth - DKB

The audience was seated to what would be one of the best award ceremonies held in the country this year. The 6th Radio and Television Personality Awards was the event and the Accra International Conference Centre (A. I. C. C) was the venue.

Walking onto the stage to engage the seated audience was the King Of #GhComedy DKB. Looking magnificent in his tuxedo, he appeared confident and ready to take up the challenge of making the ceremony a memorable one.

DKB used the opportunity to give his opinion on the disqualified presidential candidates; which were very funny opinions obviously. The highlight of his opinion was when he started talking about the "Kalyppo" issue and said Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom would have forgotten about the disqualification if he was given Kalyppo. "Paa Kwesi misi gyi Kalyppo" he teased.

DKB as host did a marvelous job; the show had no dull moment. He has shown why comedians should be considered in hosting events in the country.

After the show, we approached DKB and asked him what he thought about the show in a whole, he said "Despite the show starting late which I apologize for, the show was smooth, there were no technical hitches, presenters called on nominees and the playback of nominees for the awards was perfect.

The sound was good, the DJ on the night, DJ Foe was amazing and the crowd was very exciting they kept the energy up. Those presenting Awards were also around for every presentation."
Speaking on the performances, the King said “The performances were also on point, Kwadee Killed it, Shatta Wale as usual did an amazing job, Eshun performed very nicely and my boys, the comedians, OB was fantastic, Lekzy was Awesome and my comedy bit was great as well."

"On the whole, this year's RTP was very smooth with little challenges. I want to thank Big Events Ghana for a great show and I really enjoyed hosting it" he finally added.
