Ghana Music Week-UK Rescheduled To December 3oth At INDIGO2

The first edition of Ghana Music Week, UK (GMW-UK), originally scheduled for the Indigo at the O2 on October 21, 2016; has been re-scheduled to Friday December 30, 2016 at the same venue.

According to the organizers, the show had to be rescheduled to December 30, 2016 due to some unavoidable circumstances beyond their control.

The postponement has become very necessary to enable the organizers fix a technical element, responsible for delivering an unprecedented event-experience per GMW-UK concept.

“Also, the postponement would give us even more time to market the event adequately for the right impact, considering that GMW-UK primarily aims as marketing and driving the right traffic to the main festival in Ghana next March”, says Mr. Freddie Annang, Chairman of the GMW-UK Planning Committee.

MultiChoice is bringing back the Nigerian version of the series after 10 years. It had announced after the last edition of BBA that each African country will stage the show henceforth. Renamed Big Brother Naija, the show will have 12 housemates who will compete for the prize of N25 million and a brand new KIA Sorento car. Sponsored by PayPorte, the program will run for 78 days, starting 22 January 2017 with a two-hour, live, televised launch and end on 9 April 2017 with a two-hour, live, televised finale.
