DKT Commences Lydia "I Plan" Community Tour With Maame Yeboah Asiedu

Lydia "I Plan" Community Tour with Maame Yeboah Asiedu has commenced at Dome market yesterday in Accra.

The community tour organized by DKT International Ghana, importers and marketers of Fiesta Condoms, Kiss Condoms and Lydia female contraceptives met with women at Dome market and offered them advice on family planning.

The women were women were also given education on the use of various contraceptive methods to enable them practice safe sex in order to prevent sexually transmitted diseases, unwanted pregnancies and unsafe abortions which could lead to death. There was a drama skit staged to entertain and inform audience on the need for family planning.

TV and radio host Maame Yeboah Asiedu, face of Lydia "I Plan" Community Tour in her engagement with the women at Dome Market yesterday highlighted the importance of family planning and also challenged them to take charge of thier lives. She urged the market women to shun primitive thoughts of having many children for security.
Speaking to the Senior Manager Programmes Dev. of DKT Rosie Ahianyo, she stated that most women do not know the various contraceptive methods available and often times those who even know have misconceptions about these family planning methods so that is why events like Lydia "I Plan" Community Tour are very important.


The three days market storm continues today at Madina market  and climaxes on Friday 27th October, 2016 at Mallam market.
