DJ Vyrusky Takes Home The Radio DJ of the Year At The RTP Awards

Starr FM’s Kofi Amoako popularly known as DJ Vyrusky has been crowned the Radio DJ of the Year at the just ended Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards held at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Vyrusky is also the DJ for Ghana’s best radio Drive Time show , Starr Drive hosted by Anita Erskine & Giovani Elolo Caleb. He beat Professor Collins (Rainbow Radio), Old Soldier (Peace Fm), DJ Mic Smith (Y Fm), Eddie Ray (Agyenkwa Fm) Mr. Kaxtro (Ultimate Fm), DJ Express (Oxzy Fm), DJ Adviser (Happy Fm) and DJ Papa Bills (Adom FM) to win the award.

Speaking to DJ Vyrusky after the award, this is what he had to say; “I want to thank God and my fans, and I pray this is just the beginning of better things to come. I also want to thank Bola Ray for the opportunity and encouragement.”

The current radio DJ of the year does not only play on radio but he is the official DJ for Shatta Wale and MzVee. DJ Vyrusky was the main DJ for the just ended Vodafone Planet X party that was held at the Polo Court. He is also the main DJ for Epilogo and Tidal Rave.
