MTN Hitmaker, Mentor And Viasat 1 Born Starz Winners I.N.K Release Their First “Single”

After a reality show, only a few noted participants are able to survive and make it to mainstream in the music world especially in our part of the world.

I.N.K. (Iyke and Kay) a music duo who have participated in all the big music reality shows in Ghana; from MTN Hitmaker to TV3 Mentor and finally winning Viasat 1 Born Starz have proven to be fully ready for mainstream music.

With a unique blend of the acoustic strings and soulful highlife tunes, I.N.K is ready to help sustain the genre in our today Ghana and take it beyond.

The group brings a unique style of smooth, new jack swag unlike anything you have ever heard. Under going two years of preparations and studies under their management, I.N.K is set to be the diamond in the music industry.

The group have released their first "single" titled "Nakupenda" ( a Swahili word for "l love you") under MoStrings Records; a talent  management house under MoStrings Gates.

The release comes ahead of their "CORPORATE AND MEDIA LISTENING" to be held at the Gold Coast Bar and Restaurant, Airport in Accra on Friday, 7th October, 2016.

Music is said to be at its most powerful when it tells a story and that is exactly what "Nakupenda" does.
According to the group, the song reflects the sincerity of expression of true love.

"The song reflects the emotions that come with matters of the heart in love. The magic of undescribed description of the feelings towards the other heart. It creates incredible images which enables music lovers to follow the characters  and see themselves in the scene", as described by their management.

This follows MAG's new strategy to open entry all year round immediately after hosting the awards in December.
