Telecommunications giant, Vodafone Ghana has been adjudged the Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Organisation of the Year at the 5th Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) Awards held in Accra.
Vodafone was awarded the prestigious title in recognition of its numerous transformational and community support initiatives such as Healthline, Healthline Medical Call Centre, Healthfest, Vodafone Scholars (Scholarship for girls studying STEM), Vodafone 321, Employee Volunteerism Programme and charitable donations.
Commenting on the recognition, Corporate Relations Manager at Vodafone, Ebenezer Amankwah said:
“Contributing to sustainable social change in our society has always been our prime concern; we are therefore grateful for the recognition as we continue to positively affect our environment to create a lasting impact”.
