Carol Tshabalala To Host The First La Liga Activation In South Africa

Award winning South African sports broadcaster and MC, Carol Tshabalala, is set to take center stage once again this Saturday, 3 December 2016, as she is set to host the first La Liga activation in South Africa at the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton.

The activation will include exhibitions from all the La Liga teams, giveaways, live performances by the likes of award winning rapper, Cassper Nyovest, and entrance will be free for all.

The First Lady of Sports will also get an opportunity to interview retired French international footballer and current La Liga ambassador Christian Karembeu.

By hosting the first La Liga activation in the country Carol Tshabalala proves once again why she is the undisputed First Lady of Sports with her work being globally recognised and respected within the sporting fraternity. 

Carol Tshabalala will also be interacting with the crowd as they wait in anticipation to watch the El Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid live on the big screens on Saturday. Kickoff time is at 17:15 pm.

Always paving a way in the sports industry, Carol Tshabalala is also the only African based presenter to join the English Premier League sportscasters and one of only a handful of women presenters.

Ghana’s Peace Hyde has once again put Ghana on the map by winning the African Broadcaster of the year award in the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards 2016.  Peace recently made history by becoming the first Ghanaian to secure the coveted position of Forbes Africa Correspondent, a role which sees her representing the West African region for the prestigious leading business magazine.
