VICTORIA MICHAELS BAGS HUMANITARIAN PERSONALITY AWARD

International Model Victoria Michaels has just received the UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards Humanitarian Personality Award. The well attended event was held at the National Theatre Accra attracted both students and corporate Ghana.

Speaking on why Victoria Michaels was chosen as the receipt of this year humanitarian honors,  Mr. Richmond Amofa-Sarpong the CEO of Youthweb Ghana-, the organizers of the event  had this to say, "Victoria Michaels has been a role model for many Ghanaian students, she has through the work of her foundation and the Africa Literacy Development Initiative inspired so many of us on what to do with life after school'.

The Multiple Award Winning Model has been globally applauded for her humanitarian commitment across Africa, especially in respect to educational development. In the last one year her foundation has provided libraries, learning aids and scholarships to underserved communities and less privileged persons.

The top model whose birthday, 4th November has become synonymous with charity events and philanthropic activities was full of praise for the award organizers as well as the thousands of students who attended the event.
She told the cheering students never to give up on their dreams and that nothing is impossible for a determined mind. She encouraged those that attended the event to go to www.aldiafrica.org to learn more about the work of the Victoria Michaels Foundation.

2016 Ghana Movie Awards Entry Closes October 20

The 2016 Ghana Movie Awards (MAG) has announced that entry for submission of works will close on October  20. This follows MAG's new strategy to open entry all year round immediately after hosting the awards in December. PEACE HYDE WINS BIG! FIRST GHANAIAN AWARDED AS AFRICAN BROADCASTER OF THE YEAR

Ghana’s Peace Hyde has once again put Ghana on the map by winning the African Broadcaster of the year award in the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards 2016.  Peace recently made history by becoming the first Ghanaian to secure the coveted position of Forbes Africa Correspondent, a role which sees her representing the West African region for the prestigious leading business magazine.
